Situated on the picturesque Franklin Harbour, our family-run park has spectacular views of the harbour and surrounding area. The view of Cowell across the harbour at night is stunning with the small town’s twinkling lights reflecting on the water.
We offer powered and unpowered sites, drive through sites as well as a range of cabins to suit the most discerning holiday-maker. Cook up a storm in our fully equipped camp kitchen and catch up on your washing in our laundry. We also offer our guests substantial facilities for the fishing enthusiast, including an undercover well-lit fish-cleaning area with and a boat ramp just meters away from the park entrance.
Our park is placed in a natural bush setting along with a swimming pool and magnificent sunsets, so come visit and enjoy our fantastic caravan park.

Cowell is great for both boat and beach fishing, and is well known for our high quality oysters.
Choose your own adventure with an array of beautiful coastal drives and beaches including Port Gibbon Beach and Victoria Point for those with a 4WD. There are also lovely tourist drives up through the hills.
Pass the time away wandering through the Franklin Harbour History Museum or have a look at some of the old farm machinery at the Ruston Proctor Steam Tractor Museum.
A memorial and plaque commemorating renowned children’s author May Gibbs can be found 10km from Cowell on Cleve Road. Gibbs spent her early childhood in the area, which is thought to have provided inspiration for her well-known ‘Gumnut Babies’ characters and many of her books.
Cowell is also just a great place to just put your feet up and have a rest.
